Bacs standard fees are applied quarterly in arrears following confirmation from Bacs of the volume of transactions and files transmitted and will be included in your standard current account charges* under the heading Computer Services.

Smartcard charges will be debited to your Bacs settlement account once confirmation has been received by First Trust Bank that your smartcard(s) have been ordered by our agent, Barclays Bank PLC.

The Bank will create a contingent liability equal to the customer's period limit and the fee will be charged quarterly.

Excess fees will be debited to your current account and charged at the time of the overlimit referral from Bacs.**

Paperless Direct Debit registration fee will be debited to your current account once confirmation of your live status is received from Bacs.
*Standard current account fees are calculated at the end of February, May, August and November and are applied in early April, July, October and January. Refer to our Price List for Business Customers.
