Remember, if you are travelling within the Eurozone countries (Austria, Belguim, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Malta, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain) you do not need to change euro to foreign currency. For countries outside the Eurozone, we can supply your foreign currency needs.
Remember to always bring some local currency with you when travelling. Our branches sell Sterling and US Dollars on demand. For other currencies, you can pre-order your currency by completing the 'Foreign Currency Note Order Form' which is available through ‘Foreign Exchange’ in the ‘Related Information’ section. You should forward your completed order form to one of over 250 branches across the country where you wish to collect the order from. Your order should be placed at least 10 business days in advance of your departure. AIB offers a suite of 18 currencies most demanded by our customers at very competitive rates. A comprehensive list of ‘Foreign Currencies and Multiple Values’ are also available through ‘Foreign Exchange’ in the ‘Related Information’ section.
