5. Government Stamp Duty of EUR30 is charged annually per credit card account. Debit Cards are liable to annual Government Stamp Duty charge which is applied in January of each year. Currently EUR5.00 per card applies where the card is used for either an ATM/In Branch transaction or a Point of Sale transaction, and EUR10.00 per card applies where the card is used for both.
