Spread your repayments

With an AIB mc2 Student MasterCard, you decide how much you want to repay from the minimum amount ( 3 % or EUR6.35, whichever is greater) to the full outstanding balance.

Instant cash

You can use your mc2 Student MasterCard along with your PIN to withdraw cash at any ATM machine or branch that displays the MasterCard logo at home and abroad. Annual cash interest rates and fees and charges apply, please view the Important Information link.

Emergency Cash Service

Should you lose your card at home or while abroad, just call us on (01) 6685500 (or +353 1 6685500 from abroad) and we’ll cancel your card and provide you with an Emergency Cash Advance Facility (subject to available credit.  Fees and charges may apply) within 48 hours in most countries.  In order to claim emergency cash you will be required to present your passport as proof of identity at a Western Union outlet nearest your location, as advised by our Customer Service Staff.

Secure Internet Shopping

Cardif Pinnacle Card Protection

Cardif Pinnacle Card Protection is an optional service that makes sure you're never left stranded if you lose your card or if it is stolen. Should any cards go missing, just one call at any time, from anywhere in the world and Cardif Pinnacle will ensure your card issuers are informed of the loss/theft.  Your cards will be cancelled and replacements will be requested.  You can also apply for this service through AIB Internet Banking.  One year’s protection is currently EUR16.00.  (Terms & Conditions apply)
