Your AIB Platinum Card provides you with the ultimate travel companion, WhiteConcierge Recovery. WhiteConcierge Recovery gives you access to expert assistance to help with an emergency or local difficulty, giving you complete peace of mind while travelling, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The services available are:

• Lost or Stolen - Emergency cash and traveller's cheques replacement; assistance with lost or stolen cards and passports.

Free Personal Accident Travel Insurance

In the course of your journey abroad, you, your partner and children are covered for up to EUR191,000 should you be injured while using licensed transport, provided at least 50% of the fares have been charged to your AIB Credit Card*

*This is not a substitute for fully comprehensive travel insurance

Emergency Cash Service

Should you lose your card at home or while abroad you will have access to a maximum of US$5,000 emergency cash (subject to available credit limit.  Fees and charges may apply). In order to claim emergency cash you will be required to present your passport as proof of identity at a Western Union outlet nearest your location, as advised by our Customer Service Staff.

No annual bank fee

Government Stamp Duty of EUR30 is charged annually per credit card account.

You can request an increase in your credit limit using AIB Internet Banking (Subject to lending criteria)

Up to 56 days interest free credit

If you clear your balance in full and on time each month, you can avoid paying interest.

Spread your repayments

With an AIB Platinum Credit Card, you decide how much you want to repay from the minimum amount ( 3 % or EUR6.35, whichever is greater) to the full outstanding balance.

Instant cash

You can use your AIB Platinum Credit Card along with your PIN to withdraw cash at any ATM machine or branch that displays the Visa logo at home and abroad.  Annual cash interest rates and fees and charges apply, please view the Important Information link.

Second Platinum Card Free

You can nominate an Authorised User on your account.
