The 'be' credit card isn’t just for the big purchases. The 'be' Visa/MasterCard will reward customers who spend EUR5000 or more in a 12 month period with a lower annual interest rate for purchases. The 'be' Visa/MasterCard is tailored for everyday customers using it for everything from buying groceries to buying petrol.
This is the most unique feature of the card. With the 'be' Visa/MasterCard we reward you with a lower annual interest rate based on how much you spend in a 12 month period.
* Incur any two instances of Late Payment, Returned Payment and Over Limit Fee within a 12-month assessment period and interest will be charged at the higher annual interest rate from the next statement date, regardless of spend. The account spend and penalty fee counters will be reset and a new 12-month assessment period will commence from the next statement date.
Introductory Offer
As a new cardholder to AIB, you will also benefit from an introductory annual interest rate on purchases and Balance Transfers for 12 months from the date your credit card account is opened. At the end of those 12 months the annual interest rates revert back to the standard rates applicable at that time. The Balance Transfer offer applies to balances transferred from store cards or non-AIB cards. The total sum of balance transfers must not exceed EUR5,000.
